“Decanter” da la notizia di un calo del 3,3% del volume complessivo delle esportazioni di vino francese nel 2014, in particolare di Borgogna (-13%) e Bordeaux (-9,5%) . In controtendenza lo Champagne (+7,8 %).
Per forza, troppi vini francesi costano molto rispetto ad altri rispettabili concorrenti stranieri. Lo Champagne, invece, praticamente dall’anno 2000, non ha più alzato i prezzi…!
CronachediGusto.it scrive che quando Cristoforo Colombo stava ancora progettando il suo viaggio verso le Indie, già questo vino bianco d’Alsazia, aveva 20 anni. Il vino è datato 1472: 543 anni , il vino più invecchiato del mondo. Secondo il quotidiano Le Figaro esso conserva anche il suo sapore, con una gradazione alcolica di 9,4%.
La sua storia è ben documentata. Il prezioso vino risulta bevuto solo tre volte:
1) durante la firma dell’accordo per la mutua assistenza tra Strasburgo e Zurigo nel 1576 – 2) alla posa della prima pietra dell’Ospedale Civile, nel 1718 e infine nel 1944 per festeggiare con il Gen. Leclerc la liberazione di Strasburgo.
